The words of Alexandra Whittaker
The marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is in sight and the couple does not make the slightest effort in planning – well, maybe they're a little bit . The newly hired couple is already at work preparing for their upcoming wedding, and according to The Telegraph, they want a less than conventional wedding cake.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would like a wedding cake made from bananas, and the reason why this has more to do with just enjoying the flavor. After the couple confirmed their relationship in October 2016, Markle posted an Instagram of two bananas with faces and fans returned their nascent relationship advertised so cute and unusual.
'Dors well xx', she captioned the photo.
People report that this choice of cake would be a significant departure from tradition. Normally, British wedding cakes have a higher level of fruit cake because it can also be served at the first couple's baptism of the couple without spoiling themselves.
Bananas make sense for the couple, both for their personal sense and because Harry likes "anything with banana." His former Royal Chief Darren McGrady has already spoken to him about caramel cake and banana.
Even if a banana cake would be unexpected, Prince Harry would not be the first to honor the royal tradition. The Telegraph reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton have also followed their own path with a wedding cake. They included an eight-story traditional cake without fruit cake, but in addition, they had a groom cake made of chocolate cookies.
If you ask us, the banana cake looks delicious.
